West Coast Planning & Assessment Framework

To help reduce uncertainty and improve decision-making, this planning and assessment framework summarizes and provides access to information about the environmental and socioeconomic resources that could be affected by ocean renewable energy development on the US West Coast, as well as the regulatory, permitting and planning processes relevant to ocean renewables. The West Coast Framework has been under development for several months and new components continue to be added.

Navigating the Regulatory Framework

Identifies and summarizes the state and federal regulatory processes for hydrokinetic development in nine key states, with the goal of facilitating a better understanding of and engagement in these processes.
